Kew Gardens
Recent work to external hoarding at Kew Gardens.
The design was hand painted over a 200m hoarding collaborating closely with lead designer James Alexander.

The bespoke artwork transformed an otherwise uninspiring development area to a creative and beautiful feature.

'Working with Peter couldn’t have been easier. He was totally professional and efficient from start to finish and the quality of his work was of the highest order. We are delighted with the final outcome, and both visitors and staff get real pleasure from engaging with it. I would have no hesitation in commissioning Peter for future similar work'.

'The collaboration with Peter on the hoarding around the Great Pagoda was a great experience. The Modern Murals team worked above and beyond expectations and we hope to work with them again.'

In some cases there is a specific design which Peter is commisioned to bring to life. Such as this case for the Churchhill War Rooms where you can see the design which was provided through to the final artwork which Peter completed.

Melanie Appley- Exhibitions Production Manager
'So far everyone I have spoken to has loved the work, they can believe it was painted. I couldn’t have been more pleased with how it worked out and working with Peter was absolutely great. On what was otherwise a very difficult project Peter was adaptable and very easy to work with. Even though there were challenges that cropped up during the job he delivered on time and with great results.'

The National Civil War Centre
In other cases Peter works to a brief to design a mural for clients from scratch, such as with the work completed for 'The World Turned Upside Down' mural for the National Civil War Centre. This commission was hand painted and created for a school and community area of the centre.

'I was very happy indeed with the process of working with Peter and delighted with the outcome. He was responsive to our complex brief and creative in his engagement with our requirements. The finished work exceeded our expectations. It is a stunning piece of work which manages to engagingly convey many of our stories in a clear narrative piece. He has worked in a historically appropriate style which suites our venue very well and his suggestions about colour and size were spot on. Our visitors enjoy the work on a daily basis. I would have no hesitation in recommending Peter very highly for any piece of commercial art work.'
